Power requirements
The Grain Pit requires electrical power for lighting and maintenance. The system can be set to work on both 240v and 110v and has a power consumption of 250 watts.

Spatial requirements
The Grain Pit is approximately 5m wide x 5m deep and 3.25m high. (16.4 x 16.4 x 10.66ft)

This is the footprint of the exhibit itself. Appropriate user and circulation space should be allowed for when planning to install The Grain Pit. For best utilisation, it should be positioned as an 'island' display with at least 2 metres of circulation space all around.

The proposed location should be at least 3.5m in height. No ceiling mounted fittings or mechanical air handling should fall below this height in the area designated for this exhibit.

Floor loading
The Grain Pit weighs in excess of 700kg.

Colour
The principal components are constructed from powder-coated steel and fibreglass therefore The Grain Pit can be coordinated to match any location colour scheme.
